When should I use PerfectIt?
PerfectIt is intended as one of the last checks that you do on your document after the text is finished.
However, some authors prefer to use it earlier on, and some prefer to run it more than once.
Advantages of using PerfectIt at the start of checking include that it helps get a feel for checking, and it minimizes time spent on distracting errors during manual checks.
Advantages of using PerfectIt at the end of checking include that it helps to ensure that editors do not introduce new consistency mistakes, and users understand the document better at that stage.
For the best results, we recommend you run PerfectIt just before you do your final spell check and read-through.
